Running since 1988, Channel 4's "So You Think You're Funny?" competition for stand-up comedy newcomers is now the longest established and most prestigious of all the Edinburgh Festival stand-up comedy competitions.

To be eligible the applicant must not have been performing stand up regularly before September2002.  Comedy style can be of the character or observational variety but must be original material!
