Johnny Vegas told reporters outsite a north London hospital that he was "very,
very proud" after his wife, Kitty Donnelly, gave birth to their 6lb 9oz son
today.
The baby's name will be Michael Lawrence Pennington; Michael after his
Dad and Lawrence after his Granddad. For those of you scratching your
heads, asking "Isn't the baby actually Johnny's!?!" and insulting his wife's
monogamy: Johnny Vegas is the stage name of Michael
Pennington.
Kitty, 27, and baby Michael are said to be doing very well. The family
hope to return home soon so that Michael Jr. can begin growing up alongside that
monkey from the old ITV Digital adverts.
