Bruce Forsyth has been honoured with a bronze bust of himself at the London
Palladium theatre.
The veteran entertainer, still working at 77 years old, has had a long
association with the theatre. He became a household name at the venue whilst
hosting Sunday Night at the London Palladium from 1958. After getting more than
20 million viewers at it's peak, the show was revived in 2000 with Brucey back
at the helm.
Bruce said at the unveiling "No theatre on this earth has every superseded
the Palladium in my affections. It is just so special."
He first started his career at the age of 14 under the name Boy Bruce the
Might Atom and has recently had a career revival after hosting Have
I Got News For You and is currently hosting Strictly Come
Dancing.
