The second date for the Linda Smith tribute, Tippy Top - an Evening
of Linda Smith's Favourite Things, has been announced as Sunday 4th June at
the Victoria Palace Theatre, London.
The first is this Sunday (12th) at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield. Paying
tribute are the likes of (but not limited to) comedy buddies Jeremy Hardy, John
Hegley, Steve
Gribbin and also jazz singer Sandi Russell. Tickets and further information

The London gig has declared a staggering array entertainment including
'speed' treatments of some of Smith's regular radio panel shows. The News
Quiz, Just a Minute and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue will
contain relevant guests Simon Hoggart, Andy Hamilton, Sandi Toksvig, Nicholas
Parsons, Paul Merton, Humphrey Lyttleton, Barry Cryer, Jeremy Hardy amongst
others.
Also appearing with stand-up sets will be Mark Steel, Mark Thomas, Arthur
Smith, Steve Gribbin and Richard Morton with live music supplied
by The Blockheads, The Humphrey Lyttleton Sextet and Sandi Russel. The whole
event is to be compered by Jo Brand.
