Billy Connolly has visited Buckingham Palace to collect his CBE.
The 'Big Yin' was awarded the honour earlier this year during the Queen's
Birthday Honours.
Connolly and his wife, Pamela Stephenson, met the Prince of Wales at the
Palace, who presented the award.
After the event, Connolly said: "This will be behind a wee window with all
the other mementoes. What exactly do you do with it?
"I didn't have to do anything but walk up and accept this lovely thing. "
Speaking about the Prince he added: "Usually when he sees me I've got me
breeks on - you know those Scottish corduroy breeks that come to the knee with
woolly socks - or I'm in a kilt. I normally look like an unemployed window
cleaner."
