If you watched the last (and
final) series of Friends and thought
Courteney Cox Arquette was looking a bit more portly than usual or, at least,
wondered why she was wearing more long flowing blouses than the usual tight-fit
outfits of earlier episodes then you’re probably a bloke. Any woman watching the
last few shows would instantly have said, “She’s pregnant.”
And indeed
she was. “Was” being the operative word. She and husband David Arquette are now
the proud parents of a baby girl whom they had named some weeks ago,Coco
.
After a harrowing few years of
trying to start a family (two miscarriages and in vitro fertilisation),
Courteney delivered a week early on Sunday - the anniversary of the couple’s
fifth year of marriage and a couple of days shy of the actress’s 40th
birthday.
