If the name doesn’t mean anything
then, as Quasimodo once said, “the face should ring a bell.” Harvey Oliver is an
incarnation of Jeff Stevenson who has been entertaining in one form or another
for a long time and has now been ‘born again’ for the stand-up circuit.
His experience ranges from TV
warm-up to after dinner speaking so he is perfectly at ease whilst chatting to
the audience (even entering among them at one point) and intertwining their
lives into his act. His material is largely observational from his middle-aged
perspective compared with the youth of today and interspersed with clever
one-liners.
A comfortable, confident, amiable
and diverse comedian which would make him popular with all
audiences.
