Those of you who are regular visitors to Funny.co.uk may recently have
read in the News about a forthcoming national search for new stand-up comedy
talent, organised by soft-drinks maker J2O and comedy club Jongleurs.
The competition has been launched today with the opening
of the search's official website, produced by web design specialists 'Graphico
', and can be
found at:
www.j20.co.uk
The search will be running across the whole of the country in
selected pubs, beginning on 26th February. Two entrants from each of these
heats will then go through to a regional final and then on the Grand Final at
the Criterion Theatre (London West End) in April 2004.
The winner will get £1000, a Jongleurs contract and a gig in New
York.
