Following on from its successful
runs in both the London and
Manchester Comedy Store
venues, the newly launched
(Nov 21st
2003)
Leeds venue presents the public with
the chance to make us all laugh. People travel the length and breadth of the
country to try and get a break doing stand-up and we expect an influx of comic
cockneys and smile-inducing Scots. But there is a point of honour at stake in
Yorkshire - Every week Leeds Comedy Store have comedians
from all over the country, Canada,
USA,
Australia…. Dozens from
Oldham for some reason?.... BUT….
NONE FROM LEEDS! Isn't it
time we found one, or even two? So
Comedy Store is now inviting anyone and everyone to help redress this imbalance, and
then they'll help export West
Yorkshire
comedy to the rest of the World!
'King Gong' is, and will be, the third Sunday of each month. Are you funny, no, ARE
you? Seriously though, time to put those thoughts into action. The first two dates

2004
