Racist bigot "comedian" Bernard Manning has been booked to play a festival
for the BNP. The "Red, White And Blue Festival" is the British National
Party's biggest event of the year and will, according to a
spokesperson, "Attract intolerant morons from across the country".
Pig-ignorant Manning initially denied the booking and in a beautifully
eloquent statement said
"It's a lot of bollocks. I don't know where I'm working. Speak to my
agent. I don't know about any BNP nonsense. I would not do it anyway. Do you
think I'm f#!?ing barmy?"
It later transpired, however, that the gig was booked without the knowledge
of the predjudiced idiot. His agent, Chris Graham, who made the booking
said.
"We have a contract with the Trafalgar Club, the social side of the BNP,
for an appearance. He is doing them no favours. It is just another gig. We have
done gigs for the Labour and Tory parties before. We are not politically
motivated."
The Anti-Nazi-League have described the event as a "Nazi rally" for a "facist
organisation". The BNP have described the event as a "Family day".
A group of comedians, including Jeremy Hardy
, Mark Steel, Mark
Thomas and
Linda Smith, have sent an open letter to the beligerent toss-pot urging him to
pull out of the event. An extract from it read:
"The BNP's so-called 'family festival' was exposed by BBC Panorama as an
event that encouraged Holocaust denial and preached race hatred.
"We are disgusted that someone in our profession would associate
themselves with the BNP and would urge Bernard Manning not to lend his support
to them."
